arriving soon

You take care of them.
Alanna takes care of you.

An AI companion for caregivers — for the exhaustion nobody sees, the grief that starts before anyone is gone, and the moments you can’t say out loud to anyone. Not therapy. Just a friend who gets it, whenever you need her.

Alanna
always here
Hi Caren. What feels heaviest right now?
I don’t even know how to explain how tired I am.
You don’t have to explain it. Just tell me what today looked like.
I was at the hospital most of the day. Then came home and made dinner like everything was normal.
That gap between those two things... That is one of the hardest parts. Moving through the motions of life as if everything is normal, when it isn’t. How are you doing right now, in this moment?

What is Alanna

A place for the ones who are always holding it together.

01
Always there
The fear nobody talks about. The guilt of needing a break. The exhaustion from constantly putting everything and everyone else first. Alanna listens without judgment, whenever you need her — even when everyone else is asleep.
02
Built on research-based caregiving frameworks
Grounded in the same approaches used in caregiver support and therapy — tools for processing anticipatory grief, managing burnout, setting boundaries, and learning to hold your own feelings while holding someone else’s. Not a replacement for medical, psychological, or professional support, but a gentle companion for the moments in between or when no one is available.
03
Made by someone who’s been there
Designed by a real caregiver who knows this isn’t just stress. It’s love and exhaustion and fear and guilt all at once. Alanna isn’t here to fix you. She’s here to sit with you while you figure out how to keep going.
A note from the creator

I’ve been a caregiver to my partner through his cancer battle. I’ve watched my mother and my sister fight theirs. I have close friends who have served this country, and during my time working at a veteran's service ornagization, I saw firsthand how deeply a veteran’s family carries them.

The truth is, no one is asking about the caregivers. Whether you’re caring for a parent with dementia, a child with cerebral palsy, or a spouse fighting cancer — caregivers are some of the most overworked and underserved people alive. No one is checking in when the fear is loudest. No one is there when the guilt of needing a break hits, or when the grief starts, even if your person isn’t gone.

I built Alanna because I’ve seen it, lived it, and walked alongside it. Caregivers deserve affordable, constant support — available the moment they need it. Not a replacement for a therapist or even the people in their lives. Just someone to sit with them, judgment free, in the quiet moments when everyone else is asleep and they’re still holding it all.
